About the project

Imperfect investigates the traces a fabrication process leaves in an object. Varying deposition speed produces texture and structural effects in printed ceramics.

My contribution was a parametric model that exposes fabrication parameters and generates G-code. The research and clay printing were led by Ashish Mohite, with concept development by Mariia Kochneva. The work was submitted to the 2018 3D Pioneers Challenge and STARTS Prize.
