About the project

GreenScenario is Ramboll’s early-stage decision-support tool for climate-resilient urban design. It brings alternative scenarios into a shared interface, so planners and stakeholders can discuss the consequences of a design while it is still possible to change it.

The system connects measures such as green roofs, rain gardens and water storage to indicators for water, heat, wind, biodiversity and economics. The value lies in comparing relationships: a change to a site can affect several systems at once.

This project sits within my work with Ramboll on layered spatial data and tools for urban planning decisions. The product and its wider development belong to the GreenScenario team; Ramboll’s product page documents the current offering.
