Evolumination
An illuminated family of forms for Dutch Design Week, exploring variation and biodiversity through algorithmic design.
About the project
Evolumination was a large lighting installation at Dutch Design Week 2023. The Kollegi Collective used algorithmic design to develop a family of varied luminaires that invited visitors to notice relationships between growth and biodiversity.
The exhibition was created with Sami Markkula, Tina Čerpnjak and Severi Uusitalo. Aalto University documented the work and credited the installation photograph to Sami Markkula.
